Entry and Registration
When will entry prices increase?
Please see the Entry Fees page for price increases.
When do online entries close?
Online entries close at 12noon on Wednesday 21 March, after this time entries can only be taken in person at the event registration on Thursday 22nd March or on the island on the morning of the event, and will incur a late fee.
I have already registered but I need to purchase another ferry ticket, Mr Vintage t-shirt, NZ MTBer Magazine subscription etc.
See the online shop for additional purchases.
Why do I need to attend the event registration when I've already registered online?
You will need to collect your race bag, race number, timing transponder, swim cap (triathletes), ferry ticket and drop off your mountain bike (if you're a mountain biker).
Do I need to bring my e-ticket confirmation with me to the event registration?
No, you'll only need your name to be able to register.
Can I register for other people?
Yes, you'll just need their names to do so.
I can't make it to the Thursday event registration, how do I register?
For those people who live out-of-town or definitely unable to register on the Thursday you will be able to register to get on your event ferry at either Pier 2, 99 Quay Street, Fullers Terminal in Auckland City or Marine Square, Fullers Terminal in Devonport on the morning of the event, and then register over on the island for your event (collect race number, transponder, goodie bag etc.). We will have your name on a list at both ferry locations.
I can't make it to the Thursday event registration to drop my mountain bike (MTB) off, how do I get it over to the island?
You will take your MTB on the Saturday morning ferry with you, please make sure it has been cleaned and is spotless as it will be inspected by DOC. Please note the Thursday registration is compulsory and must be attended if you're able to make it; there is very limited capacity on the Saturday morning ferry for MTBs, please email Kezia to book your MTB on this ferry.
