21KM TRAIL HALF MARATHON

Brand new course for 2024! The 21km now ventures up to Billy Goat Point on Motutapu Island for stunning views of Waiheke, Rakino, and beyond. You’ll run along the less visited Northwestern coast of the island, past Sandy Bay (arguably the best beach on the island) and Raupōiti (Administration Bay) - though the outdoor education camp.

At 12.5km you’ll venture out onto Rangitoto Island for a loop which travels along the doorstep of a number of the old island batches (some of which are still in use today). There is one final climb up to the highest point on Motutapu (121m) before descending to the finish in Te Pehi o Manawatere (Home Bay). Grab an ice cold Speights and soak up the atmosphere.

Please note, the 21km Half Marathon has SOLD-OUT in previous years, so if you're keen, make sure you get in early!
